October 6-10

the week was a normal one- from what i remember! tee ball, brittany and brooke's practices and games- brittany went to pearland hs homecoming -well not really she said that 'noone' goes (drives me nuts she always says 'noone' or 'everyone' does things and then i ask other parents and they tell me 'oh really? my kid was there- or my kid did' .......anyway so since 'noone' was going to pearland hs dance, they went out to eat instead - so she got to stay out lateeee for a 15 year old- but no worries i can track her by phone hahaha!

on friday, the boys and i drove to friendswood to get jacob's 2 year pictures taken (2.5 months late :) - layla took them for us- she owns her own photography business now and is GREAT with kids - i guess she has no choice, seeing as she has six of her own! anyway- she let me do some editing on them since she likes me so much- jacob was not cooperating much- we had to keep tricking him into doing things- drives me nuts! you have to tell him the opposite of anything you want him to do to get him to do it... typical i guess but frustrating! he was a little ham playing in the chair- pretending to fall (and actually falling) out of the chair- here are some faves:

october 4th, 2008 happy birthday emma sue dolci!

my new niece was born on october 4th, i have still not met her - she's way up in jersey, but i have seen how cute she is in pictures- and her big brother loves her alot!  he likes to sing to her and read to her and hold her!  i cant wait to meet her in december!

sept 29- oct 5- back to the routine!

monday - take boys to school- work- stephanie boot camp- jeremy kuk sul won

tuesday - boys to nanas- work- brooke cheer practice- pick up- brittany drill team practice- pick her up too

wednesday - brooke morning cheer practice- drive her- drive boys school - work- brooke cheer at game- jeremy picks her up- britt drill practice (has ride) steph- boot camp- jeremy kuk sul won

thursday- brooke morning cheer practice- drive her- drive boys to nanas- work- justin tee ball practice- brittany drill practice (has ridE)

friday kids to school- work- night we got to relax- well, after driving brittany to the movies.

saturday morning, i ran the race for the cure 5k- my time last year was 27ish- my time for a january med center 5k was 25:55- so my goal for the race was 25 min- according to my garman, i made it with 4 seconds to spare- according to the chip on my shoe- my time was 25:14- maybe the chip didnt register til i crossed the second 'mat' or maybe my garman is wrong! anyway- there were TONS (29,000) of people! hard to run weaving in and out, but it was a good cause- after the race, eden, traci and i met jeff and alex at denny's for breakfast.



later that day, we went to evan's first birthday party- (well, the boys and i- jeremy doesnt do parties) and we had a fun time bc the kids got to swim-









and jacob is finally kind of getting over his fear of big dogs- he does okay with 'jack'



Saturday night- brittany had a game- they rescheduled it to saturday bc of the hurricane- so we all headed to watch the first half, and to see her perform at halftime-







sunday- justin had two birthday parties to go to- both were his good friends so he didnt want to miss either one.. first one was at jumpin jungle- and i swear every time we go there one of my kids has the runs within 2 days of going- this time was jacob- had to leave school monday bc he had the runs- ugh! anyway- party was fun- and we only stayed 45 minutes- and dropped jake off at home with dad- and headed to mitchell's party- at pitch, putt and play- justin had a ball- he and mitchell were bff's in school, and now that mitchell is in kindergarten, jsutin hasnt seen him in a while- they were both really excited to see each other! they played video games, miniature golf, and went in the bumper boats (and got stuck! mitchell couldnt figure out how to get it back to the deck, and kept turning in circles, so the guy working had to 'rescue' them..ha!









later that night, jeremy and i decided to go out to eat for our anniversary- so we went to saltgrass steakhouse at 8pm- it was good- i had some chicken- he had steak- and then we went to marble slab..

and that was the end of the busy week!

lets see- the girls were off school all week- probably started to get bored!

on wednesday, justin had his first tee ball practice with the dad's club.. it went well and seemed to be more organized than ymca tee ball!  he was excited about his batting helmet, bag, and new shoes!  he hits pretty well and is working on catching and throwing!  dad helped out alot, too!  nice that i finally get to sit on the sidelines and watch- whereas with the girls activities- i am helping out and jeremy is watching!

on friday, brittany had practice and a game- the boys and i went to margarets - she is a great cook and they grilled and had homemade mac n cheese- yummy!  i then dropped the boys back at home and went back to margartets to watch the sex in the city movie- it was gOOD!  the guys kept saying 'omg it's STILL not over?!'  ha! bc it is super long- but it was hilarious and good!

sat night, i went to dinner with some friends to celebrate birthdays- we went to bj's- it was good but a long wait!!!  the desert was worth the wait, though- a warm white chocolate macadamia nut cookie with ice cream on top!

ok so i know i am wayyyyyyy behind- sept 15-21

so- the monday after ike- there was no work- the kids didnt have school for two weeks- well justin went back sept 22, jacob sept 24, and the girls sept 29.

jacob had his two year aptmt sept 18 (see previous post)- we went to visit shelly on the 18th, and saw amy's house- which was totally destroyed by ike-

we got power sept 19th! yay!!!  the kids and i had gone to jennifers to hang out- to get a break from the in laws, and give the in laws a break from us!  we had fun- we ate pizza and made bead iron thingies.. kayla and brooke acted like each other- and then brooke ended up staying the night there- the next morning was when we  went to the pod.

on sept 20th, it was nana's birthday- so we took her to red robin to eat- the girls and i went to the pearland town center after we volunteered at the pearland pod- we were shopping for brittany's homecoming dress/accessories- so nana, pawpaw, jeremy and the boys met us at red robin when we finished.  justin told the waiter it was nana's birthday, so they came and sang to her-  we figured if justin told the waiter, nana wouldnt get mad at him for telling!  of course jacob had no problems helping nana eat her birthday ice cream!
