the week was full with boot camp, kuk sul won, drill team practice and cheer practice- thank goodness for carpools is all i can say- esp for working parents!
on the 30th brittany had a carwash for the drill team- luckily, jeremy had to work so i got out of volunteering for 5 hours in the heat! yay me! that evening, jeremy and i went to a surprise birthday party for jeremy's friend- it was around the block at bill and vicki's - it was fun- they had karaoke and a mob guy for real- and he sang some good karaoke! he had the total italian accent- and they told me he was bill and vicki's bookie.. they said seriously? i believe it- he was huge!
sunday morning, the boys and i had a playdate at demi's house- they love going over there- it's like toys r us to them- demi has a great gameroom on the 3rd level with chalkboard paint on the walls and everything! jacob decided he was scared of everything from the dogs (who were in their crates or in the study locked up) to ceiling fans????? who knows- maybe he was just tired.. here are a few pics..

August 25th- school started for the girls- brooke is at a new school which is across the street from her old school- she now goes to pearland jr high west and was at pearland jr high east- due to rezoning- strange. brit's at the same school- they both like their teachers so far- brooke says pjhw is 'gay' and they are making all the rules so dumb just bc 'they know how bad east students are' lol- apparently that is what all the kids are thinking.

sun night bc it was labor day weekend- the boys and i went to swim at margaret and gert's pool- then jeremy met us there, and stayed to play poker while i took the boys home and put them to bed and left them there with the girls, and came back and hung out and talked- while they played poker- they are some funny people over there!
hurricane gustav hit baton rouge that weekend- and my grandparents were without power from around the 30th until this past weekend! 14 days......
