oh ya...

jacob pooped on the potty 2 thursdays ago- for nana- cool, huh? no progress since then- i am not sure he is ready... but cant hurt to try (or for nana to try..:)

also, while grandma bird and grandpa were here, jacob slept in a big boy bed (justin's bed) for the first time- and justin had a good time sleeping on a pallet in mom and dad's room.. he thought that was so cool, and talked about it all weekend 'grandma bird, i need to tell you something, jacob's gonna sleep in my bed, you're gonna sleep in jacob's room, and i'm gonna sleep in mommy and daddy's room. '

i was worried about jacob climbing out of bed bc he is not one to stay put unless he's in a crib or pack n play (but a friend had borrowed it and i forgot) or carseat... but surprisingly, he stayed! we had walls on 2 sides of the bed, and the side thing, and then the couch cushion at the bottom to kinda prevent him from falling.. worked out well! here are a few pics of that..
