July 5/6

satruday july 5, i got my hair straightened, i had met a friend from high school who i hadnt seen in ages for lunch earlier in the week, she is beautiful and egyptian and her hair was so silky smooth- i asked if she just did the chi, and she said no, she does the japanese hair straightening in chinatown (houston) and has been doing it for 4 years- the price she paid was much better than prices i had heard (which is why i had never done it), so i set up an aptmt and did it! i LOVE IT. it took FIVE and a HALF HOURS!!!!! but it was well worth it! you get it touched up every 4-6 months. for the first few days jeremy said it freaked him out bc i didnt look like me... for a brief few minutes i missed my curls, but then i remembered that they were frizzy out of control curls, not uniform, pretty ones! and now,i dont even think back- i love it straight, i can wear my hair down with no maintenance at all! here are the before and after pictures:







sunday night i spent the night with my college buds, joci and lisa- lisa was in town from jersey staying at joci's- we had fun laying out at the pool, cutting down trees, watching movies involving car phone chargers and blood- and eating.. fun times at jocelyns! miss u girls! ps joci will kill me for posting this pic bc we all have no make up on.
