Holiday Parties 2008

we had 3 holiday parties this year- one at my friend, shelly's house- one for jeremy's work, and one for my high school friends that we have every year. I had spent the weekend before shelly's in san marcos with my friend, jennifer. we went shopping at the outlets. we took the long route there- bc we went all the way to austin before san marcos bc i asked jeremy the quickest way to go- adn he thought we were going to austin first.. so it took us about an extra hour to get there. then, we shopped- and that evening, we stayed at the marriott and stopped by meredith and andy's place to visit (and see her beautiful ring!). the next morning, we got LOST on the way home. yes, we went all the way to san antonio before finding i-10 and heading to houston- it took us at least an extra hour! so, we were both hoping to get our gps systems for christmas this year to avoid that in the future! (we both did end up getting one)

anyway- that sunday evening was shelly/chris's holiday party. it was a fun time, esp with the multi-cultural santa claus's she had- they were both a little freaky actually..but fun! i went with eden and margaret and our husbands stayed home with the kids..





the next thursday was jeremy's work party- it was at green tee country club in pearland. it was nice- nothing to exciting. we did win $50 academy gift card!

then that friday was our annual holiday party with my high school friends. of course brooke had a tournament and brittany was babysitting for the orsi's- so i went solo for the first few hours- but eventually around 10pm, brooke finally got back and i picked her up (they lost, btw)- dropped her off at home, and picked up jeremy to head back to the party so we could do the white elephant trading! we ended up with a serving platter for dips, and a travel pillow which i did use on our trip to maryland, btw. it was alot of fun, and nadia and jennifer came this year- so that was a nice addition! we had it at blake's parents house this year bc they have a big house, they're in pearland, and no kids so no trying to be quiet! stephanie was very entertaining teaching us some moves she learned on youtube- she was cracking me up!
