Nov 16th Justin's last t-ball game/anna's first bday

Justin had a good time playing instructional t-ball this fall- instructional t-ball means that every kid gets a chance to bat- and they keep swinging until they make a hit- every kid gets to run to 1-2-3 and home plate- each inning. Justin is a pretty good batter- an okay thrower (he improved alot) and needs some improvement at catching- it will help alot when he learns to keep his eyes open :) but he's trying! We actually just signed him up for REAL t-ball starting in march. He will have 3 practices (well 2 practices and a game) a week- and it will be the normal rules- 3 strikes, 3 outs, etc. so it will be alot more intense. I just hope he doesnt get too frustrated- he is the child who wants to quit if he cant do something good the first time! obviously he needs to learn that's not how life is! so, here's to hoping we get a good coach and good teammates and parents! we wont find out until end of january the practice days, times, and coach/players.

anyway- here are a few pics from his instructional team, which we had alot of fun with- ..and the coaches were great! jacob loved to watch (bc he got sonic ice and could play with other kids there), nana and pawpaw came to every game but the first (bc they had a wedding to go to), brooke went to most games, and brittany and izzy came to the last game- which was a big treat for justin and jake- they LOVE izzy. justin kept waving to izzy every time he'd run from 3rd to home- could care less that any of the rest of us were there!

this picture cracks me up- justin couldnt stop eating his snack long enough for a pic so eats it over jacobs head before hugging him..ha!

Our good friends, the Gratz's had a small get together to celebrate anna's first birthday.  I cant believe she's one!!!  Ali set up some cardboard boxes to make tunnels and houses for the kids to play in- the theme was a farm theme, and so she even had fabric on the boxes - lots of work! haha.

  2. These pictures are great as usual. Yes, making the move from instructional to real tball is a jump, and he will probably get a little frustrated at first, but once he starts getting others out, he will have a blast!
